• The ESCO Airstream Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet is a critical piece of equipment designed primarily for applications necessitating a sterile work zone, including those that require the handling of pathogenic biological samples. It offers comprehensive protection to the operator, the laboratory environment, and the product or process within the work zone against particulates and airborne contamination. This Biosafety Cabinet is engineered with an inflow system that safeguards the operator from potentially harmful substances. To ensure maximum protection of the samples and operator, it employs ULPA/HEPA-filtered downflow, creating a negative pressure ISO Class 3 work zone that effectively prevents cross-contamination. This both prevents airborne contaminants from escaping the work zone and protects the operator from exposure to potentially hazardous materials. Built for practicality, the ESCO Airstream Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet features a single-piece work tray and single-piece wall design, facilitating ease of cleaning and maintenance while enhancing overall durability. The ESCO Airstream Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet is controlled by the Sentinel™ Gold Microprocessor controller, ensuring precise operational control and monitoring. It is also equipped with a DC ECM motor, allowing for energy savings of up to 70% and contributing to the cabinet's efficiency, environmental friendliness, and quiet operation.

  • The ESCO Airstream Laminar Flow Air Flow Cabinet is an excellent choice for clinics and labs which require a sterile workspace with a constant filtered airflow. These benches provide a sterile environment ideal for medical and laboratory applications, as purified air travels across the working zone of the cabinet in a vertical, unidirectional stream. Airstream benches offer a high level of protection for both samples and users, ensuring the aseptic and particle-free conditions that are necessary for safe work with samples in open dishes. This vertical laminar flow workstation provides sample protection with ULPA filtration, which is 10x as efficient as HEPA filtration and creates an ISO Class 3 work zone. The laminar flow bench is highly efficient, incorporating the latest generation of DC ECM motors, and is able to maintain a stable airflow despite voltage fluctuations. This stable airflow eliminates turbulence and the possibility of dead corners in the work zone. In addition to its filtration capabilities, the ESCO Airstream Laminar Flow Bench also offers a comfortable low noise level of 52dBA* (LVG-4A in open field condition). The ESCO Airstream Laminar Flow Air Flow Cabinet has been tested for cross-contamination and product protection using a microbiological test method adopted from EN12469. The laminar flow bench also features an ISOCIDE™ Powder Coat (silver-impregnated), which inhibits microbial growth, improving safety. Each clean bench is individually factory tested for safety and performance in accordance with international standards.

  • The ESCO Airstream® NS G4 Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet is an NSF-certified unit equipped with the Centurion Touchscreen controller. Designed for laboratory use, the cabinet features dimmable LED illumination and a raised, stainless-steel armrest for user comfort. Two model variants are available: the S-Series has stainless steel side walls with side capture zones and a single-piece work tray that is designed to retain spills, while the E-Series comes with tempered glass side walls and a multi-piece, autoclavable work tray. Each variant is available in three-, four-, five-, and six-foot configurations. Both models provide filtration efficiency that is 10 times higher than standard HEPA filters, establishing an ISO Class 3 work zone instead of the more common ISO Class 5. Despite this increased efficiency, the filter has a lifespan of 10 years, with replacement costs equivalent to HEPA filters. The cabinet's design prioritizes safety, while also considering space constraints in laboratory settings. The Centurion Touchscreen Controller adds a layer of operational clarity for users.

    Single unit

    • Centurion Touchscreen Controller: Provides a clear 3D BSC diagram displaying safety information and cabinet alarms, includes details on alarm types and intervention instructions, angled for ease of viewing, and offers a Quickstart mode for rapid operation.
    • Lighting: Features dimmable LED lights with adjustable work zone brightness, producing a light intensity of 1200 lux, contributing to energy efficiency.
    • Ergonomic Design: Comes with an 8” sash opening, and the frame is constructed of shatterproof, UV-absorbing tempered glass. It also includes support beams to reduce vibration and a holder for easier drain pan cleaning.
    • Connectivity: Equipped with a USB port for data log access and BMS connectivity. Also integrates a Remote Modbus feature for remote secure access from external devices.
    • Cabinet Variants: S-Series: Features stainless steel side walls with negative pressure for containment and a single-piece spill-retaining work tray, or E-Series: Designed with tempered glass side walls for increased visibility and a multi-piece, autoclavable work tray.
    • Energy Efficiency: Incorporates an energy-efficient DC ECM for up to 70% energy savings compared to AC motors. The cabinet has a standby mode and an overall low energy consumption.
    • ULPA Filter: Offers filtration efficiency ten times greater than HEPA filters, creating an ISO Class 3 work zone. This filter maintains a lifespan of 10 years with comparable replacement costs to HEPA filters.
