The kit comprises two primary components: a Swimming Sperm Trapper and a 45° Sperm Swimming Up Rack. Designed with a cylindrical main body, the Swimming Sperm Trapper has an open upper end and a conical convex bottom. The bottom's conical feature is equipped with a central hole, purposefully designed to allow sperm to swim upward. In operation, sperm are initially transferred into the Swimming Sperm Trapper. When necessary, culture medium is added to the designated component, where it flows into the sperm cavity. The trapper is then positioned in the 45° Sperm Swimming Up Rack, allowing sperm to navigate towards the culture medium. On the opposite side of the dish, two small concave circles are positioned with an upward-slanting bottom with a finely grooved structure. This design facilitates the separation of motile sperm from immotile sperm, as only the most motile are able to ascend the incline of the groove.
