MiOXSYS® is a company that has developed a rapid in vitro diagnostic semen test for accurately measuring oxidative stress. The company’s sORP measure is based on the principle of oxidation-reduction potential, which measures the exchange of electrons in the sample. Unlike other measures, sORP represents an integrated measure of all oxidants and reductants, making it a clinically meaningful measure when diagnosing idiopathic cases associated with high levels of oxidative stress.
