The accuracy of the MiOXSYS® largely relies on its specialized sensor, which comprises a single-use, platinum-based, stable state electrode sensor coupled with an Ag/AgCl reference cell. The seminal plasma is drawn in through a filter on the sample port, which then migrates across the working electrode to fill the reference cell, thus establishing the electrochemical circuit essential for precise ORP measurement. The accompanying MiOXSYS® analyzer system and software have been thoroughly validated, with over 10,000 clinical samples tested.
