The ASTEC SMA-30DRS Direct Heat Incubator is the world’s smallest dry heat sterilization incubator, designed to deliver reliable performance in a compact form factor. Despite their small size, these incubators are engineered to handle both basic and advanced research applications, making them ideal for labs with limited space and stringent quality requirements. The SMA-30DRS is part of a series available in 30, 80, and 165-liter models, all of which are stackable to maximize lab space.
Equipped with advanced features, the SMA-30DRS offers infrared (IR) CO2 sensors, O2 control, and the option for dry heat sterilization. The incubator’s direct heat system ensures uniform temperature distribution, reducing the risk of contamination due to condensation. Additional features include a HEPA filter within the chamber, an external sample port for gas testing, and access ports for running equipment like shakers or mixers inside the chamber.
The incubator’s inner chamber is designed with rounded corners for easy cleaning, and it is available with either a full glass inner door or an optional stainless steel multi-level door. ASTEC’s commitment to energy efficiency and low consumption makes the SMA-30DRS suitable for sensitive applications, including regenerative medicine. The unit also supports external alarm and monitoring systems, to ensure dependable operation in demanding lab environments.
