NordicCell’s Aspiration pump tubing works as an extension from the aspiration needle to an aspiration pump. The tubing is equipped with male/female luer connections, with a male luerlock towards the aspiration needle and female luerlock towards the protection filter on the aspiration pump.
The associated pump protection filter is a hydrophobic protection filter designed to prevent any fluid from getting into the aspiration pump. It is packaged as individual sterilized units to protect the aspiration pump. The pump protection filter fits the supplied luerlock connector, which is intended to be mounted permanently on the air-intake valve of the pump.
