The ASTEC SD830 mini-Cube Single Drawer Incubator is designed to offer a versatile incubation solution that is both compact and expandable. The mini-Cube can be used for both dry and humidified culture, heated from the top and bottom to ensure a stable and well-protected environment within its chamber. The standard bottom plates for humidified incubation can achieve over 90% humidity in just three minutes. Optional bottom plates for dry incubation are also available.
A new optional split chamber feature allows dishes for up to two samples to occupy the same drawer. This design enables users to access a desired dish in half of the chamber with minimal disturbance to the other half, maintaining separate identification in a compact space. The solid aluminum base drawer is removable, allowing it to be autoclaved for cleanliness and sterility independently of the rest of the incubator.
The mini-Cube’s gas mixing system, located at the back of the unit, efficiently combines incoming gases to provide the necessary mixed levels for your culture, eliminating the need for premixed gas. The mini-Cube also offers front-located gas sampling ports for easy access. The unit is designed to maximize lab space, with the capability to stack up to three mini-Cubes in the same footprint as a 30L water-jacketed incubator.
