  • The CARIAD Automated Staining Machine for Sperm Morphology Staining streamlines the process of sperm morphology assessment, providing valuable insights into the prognostic outcomes of spontaneous pregnancies, ART results, and the functional state of male reproductive organs. This machine is equipped with a single-layer Teflon-coated staining carousel that individually positions slides to prevent cross-contamination. It can simultaneously handle 16 slides and accommodates 10 reagent bottles with a capacity of 500 mL each. On average, reagent consumption is 2.5-3 mL per slide. Users can choose from up to 10 staining programs, including the three most common options: Pap, Modified Pap, and Diff-Quik Staining. The centrifugal speed is adjustable between 100-300 rpm, and results can be viewed on a 7-inch touch screen. For safety, a lid interlock mechanism that ensures secure operation. Maintenance is simplified with a built-in gradienter for balance detection, auto-checking of reagent levels at startup, and automatic cleaning upon shutdown. The machine offers a fully automated experience from startup checks and staining to centrifuging and self-cleaning. It delivers a high degree of customization, efficiently staining 16 slides concurrently using an injection mode that conserves reagents and eliminates the chance of cross-contamination. With preset parameters, it ensures consistent staining procedures across slides, aligning with IQC standards.

  • The CARIAD Sperm DNA Fragmentation Kit employs the Sperm Chromatin Diffusion (SCD) method to assess sperm DNA integrity, crucial for male fertility. Sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) indicates the presence of sperm with damaged DNA, affecting fertility and reproductive outcomes. This kit is based on the observation that sperm with fragmented DNA do not show the typical halo of dispersed DNA loops seen in sperm with intact DNA, after acid denaturation and removal of nuclear proteins. Additionally, the SCD test can be utilized to evaluate sperm DNA longevity, revealing latent DNA damage not immediately apparent during initial assessments.

    20 tests/kit

    • Contain dithiothreitol lysis solution and Wright staining solution
    • Easy identification: sperm with fragmented DNA does not show a dispersion halo or the halo is minimal
    • 20 tests/kit, stable for 12 months at 2-8℃
  • CARIAD Modified Papanicolaou Staining Solution is tailored for sperm morphology assessment in semen samples. Utilizing Hematoxylin, eosin, and light green stains, it offers an enhanced staining outcome. Compared to traditional PAP staining, this solution dramatically reduces staining time to just 10 minutes. It remains stable for 6 months when stored between 4-30℃ and retains its effectiveness for 3 months after opening.

    50mL x 3

    • Faster staining than conventional PAP staining, requiring only 10 minutes
    • Distinct morphological features after staining
    • Stable for 12 months at room temperature
  • The CARIAD SEA-5 Seminal Plasma POCT Automated Chemistry Analyzer is an in vitro diagnostic biochemistry instrument tailored for the quantitative determination of Seminal Plasma biomarkers. Recognizing the importance of prompt results in seminal plasma analysis for diagnostic and fertility evaluations, the SEA-5 is designed to provide immediate outcomes. This eliminates the dependence on off-site laboratories and simplifies the process for Andrologists, doing away with intricate manual tests. The device accommodates cartridges that can assess up to five parameters simultaneously, and these cartridges are designed for single-use. Users can navigate the system through its 10-inch touch screen display, and results can be conveniently printed on-site via the built-in thermal printer.

    Single unit

    • 5 parameters in 1 single-test cartridge
    • 12 minutes for 5 parameters
    • Sample volume: 5-20μL
    • 3 steps operation
    • Highly accurate results with CV ≤ 3%
    • No user calibration necessary
  • The CARIAD Sperm Membrane Detection Kit (Hypotonic Dilation Method) facilitates the swift detection of sperm membrane function and vitality. Operating on the principle of the semi-permeability of an intact sperm membrane, this kit offers insights into the fertilization capability to a certain degree. Formulated with 1.35% fructose and 0.74% sodium citrate, it employs a method recommended by the WHO for accurate and reliable results.

    20 tests/kit

    • WHO recommended method
    • Ready to use, simple to operate, and easy to count
    • Contain 1.35% fructose and 0.74% sodium citrate
  • CARIAD Sperm Nuclear Staining Solution (Acridine Orange Method) is specifically formulated for staining sperm nuclei and evaluating the presence of single-stranded DNA in damaged sperm chromatin. Endorsed as a recommended method by the WHO, this solution provides accurate insights into sperm chromatin integrity. When stored at 2-8℃, the solution remains stable and effective for up to 12 months.

    20 tests/kit

    • Faster staining than conventional PAP staining, requiring only 10 minutes
    • Distinct morphological features after staining
    • Stable for 12 months at room temperature
  • CARIAD Sperm Staining Solution, based on the Diff-Quik Method, is designed for sperm morphology staining analysis. This staining solution facilitates the quantitative evaluation of both normal and abnormal sperm forms within an ejaculate. Incorporating eosinophilic xanthene and basophilic thiazine stains, it is particularly suitable for CASA (Computer-Assisted Sperm Analysis). With a shelf life of 12 months at room temperature, this method is endorsed by the WHO for swift semen staining procedures.

    3 x 100mL

    • Simple operation and fast results within 5 minutes, competitive when a rapid report is required
    • Eosinophilic xanthene and basophilic thiazine stains
  • The CARIAD Sperm Vitality Staining Solution utilizes the eosin-nigrosin stain method for swift detection of sperm vitality. Dead sperm cells absorb the eosin, resulting in a red stain due to their altered membrane permeability. In contrast, live sperm with intact cell structures remain unstained. The nigrosin provides a black background, enhancing the distinction between live and dead sperm, making observations more straightforward. This ready-to-use solution offers a simple, one-step staining process.

    40 tests / kit

    • WHO recommended method
    • Ready to use, one-step staining technique
    • Easy to evaluate with black background: dead sperm’s head is red, live sperm’s head is white or pink after staining
  • The CARIAD Staining Solution for the Maturity of Spermatozoan Nucleoprotein (Aniline Blue-Eosin Staining) is designed to evaluate sperm maturity. Through the staining of sperm nucleoprotein, it aids in assessing the occurrence of nucleoprotein transition. Upon application, immature sperm heads are distinctly colored blue, while mature sperm heads appear red, simplifying evaluations. Aniline blue serves as a standard test to determine chromatin condensation in sperm DNA. The solution remains stable for up to 12 months when stored at 2-8℃, and maintains its efficacy for 15 days at 2-8℃ after being opened.
