PhaseTwo: Advanced Cryogenic Storage Solutions with Enhanced Efficiency and Reliability

In 2023, we received reports from our customers about availability issues with existing cryogenic storage options. In our ongoing effort to provide reliable alternatives, Fertitech has partnered with PhaseTwo, an innovative manufacturer of dewars, freezers, and other cryogenic storage solutions.

PhaseTwo’s dewars and freezers have been specifically engineered to address common challenges in cryogenic storage. Their innovative design, featuring vacuum technology and multi-layered installation, results in a lower standing evaporation rate for liquid nitrogen. This reduces LN2 consumption, but also results in a longer static holding time. PhaseTwo dewars need to be opened for refilling less frequently, which keeps their temperature consistent and reduces the risk of contamination.

Recognition that efficiency, convenience, and safety reinforce one another is evident throughout PhaseTwo’s product line. Their designs incorporate a fixed position for the optional Low Level and Temperature Alarm (LLTA), ensuring consistent and reliable readings.  A similar level of attention to detail is reflected in everything down to lids of their freezers, which are designed to rest securely and allow operators to use both hands to access samples.
