Introducing Alpha-Tec Systems
We’re pleased to announce significant updates to the Scopescreen/Bioscreen line of diagnostic products, which many of you have come to rely on for their consistency and quality. Recently, Scopescreen was acquired by Alpha-Tec Systems, a member of the Calibre Scientific family. All manufacturing processes are now located at Alpha-Tec’s ISO 13485:2016 certified facility in Vancouver, Washington, USA. While these products are now being produced in a different location, Alpha-Tec has confirmed that there have been no changes to their formulations, and you can expect the same performance you’ve come to expect.
As part of this change, you’ll notice some updates in the product packaging. Going forward, products be packaged with Alpha-Tec branding, and be labelled in accordance with the latest ISO 13485:2016 requirements. During the transition, it’s possible that you may receive products in either the original Scopescreen/Bioscreen packaging or the new Alpha-Tec packaging as we update our stock.
While there have been no changes to the manufacturing processes of the products, please be aware that product codes have been updated:
